Go with the flow. That’s me. Because sometimes, I have really no control or power to be against the superior one. Like our housemother who’s in vacation but still has a power to decide who will transfer to our flat. Okay, flat issues again. We’re all tired also. We just have to wait and pray for a peaceful flat with her. Need to have patience and resilience on everyhting here in KSA, coz I’m about to leave this place in three months! Though I still didn’t handed over my resignation.. maybe I don’t have to feel 50:50 anymore because there were a lot of vacancies for nurses everywhere. I just need to be serious enough to learn English well to be able to have band score of 7 in IELTS.
I reached my friend, Hazel thru Messenger. We had a video call conference for eighty-seven minutes!! Long catch-up, yes. I’m shocked and happy for her news on her career. She will be leaving our country, PH, in less than a month!!! And she still didn’t even say a word to us, our barkada. But, I’ve been there also, same shoes, same situation. I secretly moved my application alone. Still, I didn’t spill every details of my application to them until it was all finalized. She will go to Qatar! I’m too happy for her. Hello, ofw feels x independence x freedom x more growth and learnings as an adult and a nurse. Gave her a lot of tips before she will go abroad to work, most esp. for filing a special power of attorney for all her backpay, unused leaves, union, sick leave and all her benefit, and she must enroll in online banking too.
Tomorrow, it’s my friend/flatmate’s exam for nurse specialist!! Cheryl, we are praying for you that you may have focus and do well on your exam so you may successfully pass it this time! We are here for you. Praying for the best!!!
I’ve accomplished my to-do-list today, on what I needed to do, except for ironing my uniform and finishing my powerpoint presentation that I will do later on. Pampered myself, organized our kitchen cabinet, borrowed Mamatha’s laptop(thank you, sister!), and Reconnected with my family and friends thru Messenger. My day off had passed by again. Tomorrow is another morning duty, then day off again after. Yet, on Thursday, we have ward meeting and my reporting day. Hope I can do it! It’s been a long time that I’ve prepared a powerpoint presentation, and reporting in front of my colleagues. The last time when I’ve reported was way back 2015? Or 2014? We got 1st place on our case presentation focusing on Urinary System. So, I need to pressure myself now, to finish my report. Go, self! Push!

Goodnight, friends!

Always be grateful 🌷
